CONNECTING THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER.
Dear Potential Sponsors:
Project Community Center, Incorporated (P.C.C. Inc.) is seeking support via sponsorships to strengthen our quest to support children, empower families, and make our communities more inclusive. Our agency's mission states that P.C.C. Inc., is to bring urban projects from the west end and the east end of Louisville together using an intergenerational approach to become the center of success for everyone from at risk youth to Military Veterans. Our mission is achieved via the following principles; Creative and Performing Arts, Health and Wellness, Education, Leadership, and Discipline.
Support Our Vision
As a sponsor, you have an opportunity to act as a change agent for a community of families who are utilizing their cultural resources to sustain and build our community. At P.C.C. Inc., we are building a community of successful talented youth who will develop a long-term lifestyle that will enhance life’s changes in today’s society. We envision our youth to develop the understanding and concepts of Education, Leadership, Discipline, Health and Wellness, Creative and Performing Arts. When dealing with adversity or simply everyday life, we see youth with limited resources, lack of guidance, and without an understanding of the transitionings of life. By modeling healthy and loving behaviors and by learning more about who we are and who we can become, we are healing generational wounds. The tighter we weave this quilt of interconnectedness the harder it will be to tear us apart, to lose someone, or to feel alone.
Here is something to consider:
The social bonds that are created at community centers help build strong, safe and inclusive communities; social interaction, volunteerism, civic pride and aesthetics all play a role. After-school programs can help deter at-risk youth from criminal activities and can provide a constructive environment.
